Get answers to common questions about Full Body.
Most clients enjoy smooth skin for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and individual rates. Regular waxing can extend time between appointments as hair grows back finer. Follow our aftercare to maximize longevity and reduce ingrowns.
Some sensitivity is normal, especially the first time. Our estheticians employ soothing techniques, numbing options on request, and pre-wax preparation to minimize pain. Post-wax cooling and topical treatments calm the skin quickly.
Exfoliate gently 48 hours prior, avoid sun exposure and self-tanners, and let hair be about a quarter-inch long. Arrive clean and lotion-free so wax adheres properly and we can deliver the best results.
Yes—certain skin conditions, recent chemical peels, sunburn, active infections, or blood-thinning medications can make waxing unsafe. Inform us about medical history, prescriptions, and recent treatments so we can recommend alternatives or postpone services for your safety.
Ideally hair should be at least a quarter-inch (about a week of growth) for wax to grip properly. Too short hair won’t remove well; too long hair may increase discomfort and require trimming beforehand.
Avoid hot baths, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours. Use gentle cleansers, fragrance-free moisturizers, and exfoliate lightly after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Contact us if irritation persists.
