Modern perm formulas and professional techniques minimize damage when applied correctly. Our stylists assess hair condition, recommend pre-treatment or protein/conditioning care, and adjust processing to preserve integrity. Proper aftercare and regular trims maintain health and improve longevity.
Curls typically last three to six months depending on hair growth, texture, and aftercare. Fine hair may relax sooner while coarser hair holds shape longer. Follow recommended styling and conditioning to maintain curl definition and volume between appointments.
Coloring and perming require careful scheduling. If coloring first, wait at least two weeks before perming to avoid over-processing. If perming first, wait at least one to two weeks before color application. Your stylist will evaluate and plan a safe timeline.
Use sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, avoid vigorous brushing when wet, and use a wide-tooth comb. Limit heat styling, apply leave-in treatments or oils, and sleep on a silk pillowcase to protect curl shape and reduce frizz.
